Dr. Christopher Moran pays Washington, DC visit for St. Patrick’s Week meetings & events
Dr. Christopher Moran, Chairman of Co-operation Ireland went to Washington, D.C. for annual St. Patrick’s Week meetings and events 9-13 March 2020 to strengthen relationships across the Island of Ireland and between Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, and the United States.
Dr. Moran met with the new U.S. Special Envoy to Northern Ireland, former White House Chief of Staff to U.S. President Trump Mr. Mick Mulvaney, Members of Congress, and special guests of the annual St. Patrick’s Day lunch hosted by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of the U.S. House of Representatives in honour of an Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD.
Dr. Moran met with Secretary of State for Northern Ireland The Rt. Hon. Brandon Lewis MP, Ambassador of Ireland to the United States of America Daniel Mulhall, Deputy Ambassador to the United States Mr. Michael Tatham, Minister Diane Dodds, MLA, Minister for the Economy for the Northern Ireland Executive, President of The White House Historical Association Mr. Stewart D. McLaurin, business and cultural leaders, universities, and others.
