The 15th Century ceiling of Crosby Moran Hall’s Great Hall, the former home of Sir Thomas More, was the historic London setting for a gala evening in honour of Sir Colin Davis’ outstanding career with the London Symphony Orchestra, a glorious artistic association extending over 50 years.

Chairman of the LSO Finance Board Mr Christopher Moran was joined by the LSO’s Managing Director Kathryn McDowell in welcoming the globally renowned soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, who delivered an extraordinary performance that evening in Sir Colin’s honour.
