Ecumenical Service with Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Abbey held in The Chapel of Crosby Moran Hall
On Wednesday, 20th November, 2024, Dr. Christopher Moran, President of Co-operation Ireland was pleased to hold an Ecumenical Service in The Chapel of Crosby Moran Hall and host a Reception & Dinner to support The Westminster Cathedral Choral Foundation and The Anglican Centre in Rome.
The Service was taken by His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster and The Revd. Canon Dr. Jamie Hawkey, Canon Theologian of Westminster Abbey and Chaplain to His Majesty The King.
Music was directed by Mr. Simon Johnson, Master of Music at Westminster Cathedral and sung by the choristers of the Westminster Cathedral Choir.
Following the Service, the congregation enjoyed a Reception in Crosby Moran Hall’s Great Hall and Dinner in the Dining Hall.
The Chapel of Crosby Moran Hall was uniquely ecumenically blessed in a Service of Dedication by His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols and The Reverend Canon Dr. Jamie Hawkey, Canon Theologian of Westminster Abbey on 20th February, 2023.
